Synopsis
Temasek Hall Productions is proud to present 'Fooled'. Inspired by Shakespeare's Twelfth Night, ‘Fooled’ traces the story of a young girl who comes to Singapore with her twin brother to seek their fortune, only to be traumatically separated in a cruel turn of events. In order to protect herself and survive in an unfamiliar land, she dons her brother’s disguise and enters into the service of a wealthy merchant, but finds herself facing a whole new set of challenges as she struggles with her newfound and precarious identity

Accompanied by a good portion of humour, 'Fooled' is a take on the follies of love amidst the background of illusion versus reality. Set in the pre-independence era of Singapore's history, it will take you back to the good old days as the characters go through the tears and joys and the ups and downs of falling in and out of love.
